About the Event
Veterans Day is a time for us to pay our respects to those who have served. This holiday started as a day to reflect upon the heroism of those who died in our country's service and was originally called Armistice Day. For one day, we are asked to stand united in respect of our veterans who have served the American people and country in selfless ways. From this focus comes the common question of: Can I give selfless service? Does it make an impact?
Join this Zoom session to discuss some programs that use this concept and approach in the curriculum already. We also want to explore the concept together as survivors of trauma and how we may see selfless service as an uncomforable place to be. There is sure to be lots of thoughts and ideas of how to implement selfless service in our lives in healthy, effective ways. We love to hear yours!
